Volunteer at Seven Sisters

We have a wide variety of volunteer positions available for the right candidates. We’d like all our applicants to be women with a college degree who can commit to at least one year—but preferably two—and some of the positions are open for longer terms. Some of the positions will have additional requirements.

Do you love English, math, life skills, music, art, or dance? You might be interested in becoming a Seven Sisters teacher. This isn’t your average teaching job; you’ll probably be teaching more than one subject, or take on some other Seven Sisters responsibilities (see below), or both!

LeavingVolunteerAre you interested in administration, accounting, and other office work? You could be Seven Sisters’ next administrative assistant. You would help keep records, receipts, inventory, paper work. This would be a great opportunity for someone interested in non-profit administration and can be combined with some teaching positions.

How about social work? Are you passionate about justice? Law? Prosecuting traffickers and abusers? Maybe assistant case worker is the job for you. You would assist our social worker and case workers organizing the ongoing cases we’re pursuing for our girls.

Do you have a masters in counseling, family therapy, or child psychology? As a counselor, you would counsel our girls, survivors or trauma and trafficking, and train our local partners in doing the same.

As Seven Sisters’ communication director/webmaster, you would be in charge of this website, our blog, Facebook page, Twitter, and newsletter. Communicate with donors and supporters, manage Seven Sisters’ links to the rest of the world.

If any of these positions interest you and you fit the listed qualifications, please send us an email with a cover letter and resume. Please email us even if none of the previous job listings rings your bells; you may be the person we don’t know we’re looking for!
